If you're reading this, you're one of the first people ever to get a gleantree digest. Thank you. Truly. Starting something new is equal parts exciting and terrifying, and having a real audience in the first seats tips it toward exciting.

Hopefully, you've already read the sample issue that explains why I started this, so I won't rehash it here. Here's what you'll actually get: most weeks, a handful of Gleanings — small, specific findings pulled straight from the public filings nonprofits submit every year. Each one is designed to highlight a specific fact about a single nonprofit organization — something you might not have known, and just maybe something you could use to identify possible funders for your organization.

There's also a companion tool I've created called the Workbench — a place to go deeper: find grantmakers whose giving looks like a fit for your organization.
